Helmet from Station 31

The aftermath of fire attack is visible on this helmet from a member of Engine 31.  Station 31, located on SE 174th Avenue, is a unique station.  Straddling the line between the cities of Portland and Gresham, it is staffed by firefighters from both Portland Fire and Gresham Fire, who share the station and the fire engine.  The station sits in a strategically important location, and this solution is widely regarded as better for citizens of both cities than building and staffing two separate stations and engines.
